Short Biography
Teacher and researcher, long-time professor at the Bern University of Applied Sciences (1993–2021). Specialist in verifiable e-voting, founding member of the Swiss E-Voting Competence Center, and member of international expert committees (VoteID & EVOTE). Following his retirement, he continued to teach in the Department of Medical Informatics until the end of July 2026. He remains actively involved in research on secure e-voting systems with the e-voting group at Bern University of Applied Sciences. July 2026: Founder of CipherPeak LLC.
